Coronavirus, it has taken over many lives and made us sit in our homes for over 2 months. Then made us be careful while going to work…or whatever purpose.
You don’t bring anyone to your house, nor go to someone else’s house…
It has made everyone rethink about their lives… and more!!
If you needed to go out before corona existed, perfume and other accessories were important… but now masks are important, forget about important, they are a compulsion!!
Masks!
So… Since face masks are a compulsion, You need to buy them… OUT OF STOCK??
Make it at home!!
How to Make a Face Mask with Fabric:
Here is an idea to make your own mask- without sewing nor using a sewing machine!!
Materials Required:
- 100% cotton kerchief
- Rubber bands
Step 1: Begin by folding the kerchief 1/3 rd from both the sides
Step 2: Fold it over again…
Introduce the rubber bands!!
Step 3: Insert the rubber bands like this…

Step 4: Fold it over now
From the other side,
Step 5: Just Wear it…
YAY!!
It’s time for wearing the mask…
BUT!!…Masks are not that comfortable… because they almost stick to your nose!!!
I just can’t breathe with the masks on…
6-layers, 7-layers, and more!!
You just can’t wear for more than an hour…
Forget about losing your life due to getting corona, you might even get breathing problems with these on!!
HAHA … That was a joke. You can laugh…
So, Face shields come to the rescue!!
It fully covers your whole face and it is even safer than a mask.
But… is it out of stock on amazon, Flipkart and other shopping stores??

DIY How to Make Face Shield at Home:
So… today I’ll be teaching you guys how to make face shield at home with household materials!!
Materials Required:
- 1 File Folder
- Hole Puncher
- Specs?? (You’ll see why!!)
- Scissors
That’s it??
Yeah… That’s it!!
LET’S Get to Work!!
Step 1: First… you start by cutting the file folder’s binding thingy…
I donno what you call it… Yeah, you cut it and the file folder opens…
You can simply throw away that binding thingy…
Step 2: The file folder opens into a book…
Simply cut it in half by following the folding marks…
Step 3: You have the files cut in two…
You can actually use it for 2 face shields…
Keep one away…
Step 4: Adjust the face shield…
Mark it to the eye-level… and till the edge of the sheet
That’s where we’ll be making holes…
Step 5: Punch holes nearly to the two ends of the sheet
One hole each side… at eye level…

Here’s where the specs come in…
Step 6: Insert the spec’s ends into the two holes…
as given below
AND… Done!!!
Step 7: Finally adjust the specs properly
DONE!!!!!!!!!
NOTE: The file visibility is very important as if the file is highly translucent, you won’t be able to see properly…
These DIY plastic face-shields can be used for emergency purposes but not for daily usage. I suggest you buy an actual face-shield with clear plastic and headband.
ALSO NOTE: THE mask I made is also for emergency purposes…
So, I suggest you buy an N 95 mask…
